英文中“据说”，“据报道“的写法

“据说”，“据报道“是我们写文章很多时候可能会用到的词语，比如在写报道、论文、评论等时就常会用到。英文中没有直译的方法，那一般是怎么表达的呢？

最直接的句型是使用 It is said that…, 或 it is reported that… 比如：
It's said that dragons are our ancestors. 据说龙是我们的祖先。
It is said that his visit is purely personal. 据说他的访问纯属私人性质。
It is reported that twenty men were killed in the clash. 据报道，有20名男子在这次冲突中丧生。

我们进一步来解读这个句式。从语法上讲，这个句式后边的 that 从句是宾语从句。be said 和 be reported 则是用了被动语态。写作时，it is said /reported 还可以用作插入成分，如：

Universities, it is said, are the cradle of innovation. 据说大学是创新的摇篮。

下面再来看一看表达这个意思的更多句式：
1） 主语 + is said/repoted to…
One of her friends is said to be very rich. 据说她有个朋友很有钱。
They are said to have ordered more chips from China. 据说他们又从中国订购了更多的芯片。
The child was reported to have been rescued. 据说那个小孩已经被救了。

2) 使用 Report has it that…, The report goes that…, Rumour has it that… 等句式。
One report has it that the Indians managed to shoot him in the leg. 有报道说，当时印第安人设法射中了他的腿。
Rumour has it that he was fired. 据说他被解雇了。

3) 还可以直接使用 they say, 如:
They say he used to be her lover. 据说他曾经是她的情人。

上面这些都是写作时很有用的句式。记住这些句式很有必要，因为它们无法通过直译的方式想出来，而是一种习惯的表达方式。
